7.1. Analysis tool

This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. Matomo uses technology that enables user recognition across pages to analyze user behavior. The information collected by Matomo about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymized before storage.

With the help of Matomo, we are able to collect and analyze data about the use of our website by website visitors. This allows us to find out, among other things, when which page views were made. We also collect various log files (e.g., IP address, referrer, browser used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions.

The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both its web offering and its advertising. If a corresponding consent was requested (e.g. consent to store cookies), the processing is based exclusively on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.

7.2. Use of Facebook plug-ins

Plug-ins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA are integrated on our websites. You can recognise the Facebook plug-ins by the Facebook logo (white “f” on blue tile) on our website. You can find an overview of the Facebook plug-ins here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.

When you visit our websites, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server via the plug-in. This allows Facebook to receive the information that you have visited our websites with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook “Like” button or “Share” button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our websites on your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to link your visit to our websites with your user account. We would like to point out that we do not have any knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. For more information, please see Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you do not want Facebook to be able to link your visit to our website to your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account before accessing our website.

7.3. Use of YouTube plug-ins

We also use YouTube plug-ins on our website. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. A connection to YouTube's servers is established when you visit one of our YouTube plug-in-enabled pages. In the process, the YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited and the following information is transferred: IP address and cookie ID, the specific address of the page called up on our websites, language setting of the browser, system date and time of the call-up as well as the identifier of your browser. The data transfer takes place regardless of whether you are registered and logged in to Google. If you are logged in, this data is directly assigned to your account. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

More information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

7.4. Google Maps API

Our website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information on the Contact/Directions page. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
When using Google Maps, information about the use of our website, including your IP address, is sent to and stored by a Google server in the USA. By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of your automatically collected data by Google.
The terms of use for Google Maps can be found at Terms of Use for Google Maps https://www.google.com/intl/en_en/help/terms_maps/.

If you do not want Google Maps to process your personal data, please deactivate JavaScript in your browser. However, please note that you will not be able to use the map in this case.

7.5. Use of Freegeoip

This website uses freegeoip.net (“Freegeoip”; freegeoip.net) technology, an HTTP API made publicly available to software developers. Freegeoip processes your IP address for geolocation and uses a database of IP addresses for this purpose. It is only possible to assign to cities, relevant time zones, latitudes and longitudes. We use this information to personalise our website services.
If you do not wish this, you can object to the use of Freegeoip at any time by contacting us.

8. Storage duration

We only store your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil our obligations towards you. However, due to our retention obligations, we generally store the personal data you provide in relation to orders for seven years after fulfilment of the contract.

If you have only registered for newsletters and the receipt of advertising information in accordance with point 4 and are not a customer of ours, we will store your data until you revoke your consent or for a maximum of three years in the event of inactivity.

9. What rights do you have?

You have the right to receive information in a clear, transparent and easily understandable way about how we process personal data and about your rights as a data subject (Art 13 ff GDPR).

Therefore, you have a right of access to the personal data we process about you. In addition, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected and your data deleted (“right to be forgotten”).

You can also withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data with effect for the future if the processing is based on your consent. You may also have the right to restrict the processing of your data, to object to the processing and to receive the data you have provided in a structured, common and machine-readable format (“data portability”). You have the option of contacting a data protection supervisory authority.
